Booth & Bomford were involved in the development and refurbishment of a private residence in the Cotswolds.
This project consisted of a new build Energy Centre to house all heating plant and backup generator, conversion of stable blocks and tack room, new build pool house and pool plant room and major refurbishment to the main house.
The project was designed and built to meet the requirements of a healthy home and great care taken with the infrastructure to minimise the electro-magnetic fields. Control of the lighting system allows precise dimming to occur in such a way that does not cause electro-magnetic emission problems and the electrical installation has been installed with “kill switches” to isolate all electro-magnetic fields when required.
The works associated with this projects were as follows:
Design of the electrical services, LV distribution services, cable containment systems, internal and external lighting systems and controls, small power services, data and telephone services, “vesda” fire alarm system along-side conventional fire alarm system and Healthy homes electrical installation including “kill switches” for power circuits within bedrooms
Design of the mechanical sercices, mechanical services wiring, heating plant, district heating pipework, domestic cold water distribution services, heating services to each property, domestic water services to each property, ventilation services, LPG services installation, borehole installation, backup generator installation, soil and waste installation.
